1. Introduction

Welcome to Skudo. By using this application, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

2. License

Skudo grants you a license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from this application.

3. Privacy

We respect your privacy. When using Skudo, we collect the following types of data:

• Device ID — login session management
• Email, display name — account authentication (via Google Sign-In)
• Game data — sync, storage, rankings
• App version — compatibility checks
• Biometric data — processed on device only, never sent to server

Data security: Login credentials are encrypted and stored in the OS secure enclave (Keychain/Keystore). Personal data is not stored on device — only cached temporarily in memory while the app is running.

4. Game Data

Your game progress is stored on the device and synced to the server when you sign in. Synced data includes: grid state, mistake count, play time, and hints used. We are not responsible for data loss due to app deletion or technical issues.

5. Limitation of Liability

The application is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the application.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. End User License Agreement (EULA)

Skudo is licensed (not sold) to you. This license does not permit you to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the application
• Rent, lend, resell, or redistribute the application
• Use the application for illegal purposes

This license is effective until terminated by you or us. If you violate any terms, the license will automatically terminate.

9. Age Restriction

Skudo is a logic puzzle app suitable for all ages (4+). The app contains no violent content, profanity, or content inappropriate for children.

10. Third-Party Services

Skudo uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In — for account authentication. When used, Google may collect data according to their own policies (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects anonymous crash reports to improve app quality. Data includes: device info, OS version, and error context. Contains no personally identifiable information. Only active in production mode (https://firebase.google.com/terms).

We do not share your personal data with any third parties other than those listed above.

11. Data Retention

We store your data according to the following rules:

• On-device data (games, settings) — kept until you delete the app or delete your account.
• Server data (account, game history) — kept until you request account deletion.
• After account deletion, all personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymous crash logs may be retained for up to 90 days to improve app quality.

You can request account deletion at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account.

12. Open Source Software

This application uses open source software components licensed under permissive licenses (BSD-3-Clause, MIT, Apache-2.0, ISC, OFL-1.1). You can view the complete list and corresponding licenses in the "Open Source Licenses" section in the app Settings. All licenses are compatible with commercial distribution.
